HP Pavilion x360 An All-rounder Laptop(2019)

HP Pavilion x360 For Students

This is the HP Pavilion x360 and it seems like a pretty decent laptop for everyday use but is this the all-rounder laptop for students, well that’s exactly what we are going to talk about today. So first things first what’s new with the 2019 edition of the Pavilion x360, there’s not a lot that has been changed here and that’s fine because this is a pretty solid laptop for its price. However, this time around HP has added a USB C port to the side which is great for future-proofing the system and there is a new 8Gen processor on board as compared to the 7 gen Intel processors in the last year’s lineup.

HP has also put in an SSD here and with the 8th gen processors come the new Intel UHD 620 integrated graphics all of which is awesome, by now I’m sure you’re wondering why I’m calling this an all round a lot of the students. Well, that’s because it’s incredibly versatile. Let me take it step by step as the name suggests

The HP Pavilion x360 is a convertible laptop, so you can use it as a laptop, a tablet or put it up in tent mode whatever suits your fancy and all of these can serve different use cases for students, say you’re in class and working the laptop form factor is probably your best bet you get the keyboard the trackpad and the big slim bezel full HD display for all your work needs.

Hp Pavilion x360 Specs

Anyway we have the 8th gen core i3 variant of the laptop although it is available in 10th gen processor variants as well plus you get 4 gigs of ram and a 256gb SSD which means this laptop will be able to handle most of your college-related applications, whether it’s Android studio or sketching a poor design students or a dozen other things.

However, if you are an architecture student this thing can’t handle all the heavy rendering software you need so keep that in mind. It is still great as a carry along with laptop. then comes the tablet mode yeah you can just fold the display around the hinge and you end up with a big 14 inch full HD tablet awesome right, this is great if you’re taking handwritten notes or if you’re sketching an idea for your next design using the HP pen.

The latency is pretty low and using the edged pen is a lot of fun I can honestly see myself loving this laptop as an engineering student back in the day for note-taking and playing tic-tac-toe with my friends at the backbenches but we’ll keep that one quiet here.

Display & Multimedia

Lastly, this is what most students will actually appreciate, as a student my friends and I use our laptops less for developing apps and writing code and more for watching movies and TV shows and whether you accept it or not that’s probably what you guys do too right, with the HP Pavilion x360 just put the laptop intend mode and enjoy your favorite movies, TV shows, and YouTube videos wherever, plus you can use it on the bed, without worrying about heating issues and on this nice big 14 inch full HD display things look great.

What with the amazing color reproduction great brightness and viewing angles it’s just awesome. Plus the Bang & Olufsen speakers on this are pretty good, I mean it’s not mind-blowing or anything but it’s definitely loud enough and the clarity is decent too. So the multimedia experience should be pretty satisfying, so yeah the HP Pavilion x360 fits right into almost every use case a student might have with the laptop and that’s amazing,

The HP Pavilion x360 is great for running some evergreen games like counter-strike without the hassle, go join that LAN party and if you’re not a fan of csgo which like why aren’t you. There’s also PUBG Lite it’s free and it runs great on this laptop too plus Pubg Lite also has a team deathmatch mode so enjoy whichever format of the game you like. The HP Pavilion x360 is great for almost everything you’ll find yourself doing as a student and, it’s also lightweight at just one point 6 kgs you can just put the HP Pavilion x360 in your backpack without worrying about your back getting too heavy to be lugged around,

oh before I forget to remember this HP pen I mentioned a while back well this is included with the laptop and that’s amazing, I mean Microsoft doesn’t bundle the surface spend with its laptops and Apple just doesn’t bundle anything at all ever, anyway the HP pen can enable some amazing things, especially for people who like to sketch or draw and for design students who have to sketch and draw with the HP pen you can just launch the windows into workspace and get started by taking notes doodling sketching and a lot more. .

HP Pavilion x360 Charging Hours

Lastly there’s the battery so the HP Pavilion x360 lasts around 6 to 6and a half hours on a single charge with casual use and that’s honestly decent enough, I don’t have any complaints with the battery life here and thanks to the compact charger carrying the charge around with the laptop isn’t an issue at all so that’s awesome too.

So all things considered the HP Pavilion x360 does look like an all-rounder laptop for students, it comes with a sleek stylish convertible design a stunning display with great colors and viewing angles speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen and really good performance which will even let you play casual games.

All of that for a price of 45971 Rs on Amazon now. I know there are a lot of gaming laptops and ultrabooks with better specs in this price bracket but if you consider the entire set of features that the HP Pavilion x360 brings well this is definitely the all-around a laptop for students.
